Installed this last night and I’m playing around with it this morning. Noticed you could create a backup for your password to floppy disk! Is not the age were most people have USB pen drives, XD, SD, Compact Flash Drives in there PC’s…. Yes leave the option to select a floppy disk but give us the option to select a different destination.
I was working down the street yesterday there was a poster on the side of a bus stop, which was using a image from Google Earth, the ad was advertising BA flight costs to new york, I didn’t have a camera with so did get a chance to take a picture, I’ll see if I can get one..
I was a bit slow on this one, but the Public Download of Vista RC1 is now available here.
It will be interesting to play about with after the great press/reviews this release has been receiving of late.
Sony is having to delay it’s release of the PS3 in Europe until March 2007 due to supply issues with the supply of blue ray drive technoolgy.

I purchased Acronis True Image Workstation last night which claims you can restore the backed up image to a Virtual PC.
I’ve not tried it yet, but I’ll let you know the results. The complete backup thou took 4 hours to backup 80GIG!
OK this is my first post using Microsoft’s New Windows Live Writer Application/Utility…
Not had much of a play around yet, but why not just have a plug in for word, maybe because everybody doesn’t have word.

I have tried this and the images doesn’t boot, I have only tried with Virtual PC 2004 SP1 and not with Virtual Server R2 as of yet, I’ll let you know.
As Microsoft has opened up the VHD file format would it not be cool if you could use Ghost 9/10 to ghost that PC’s HDD into a VHD file and you could then boot that PC up?
This would be very useful…..
